There are lots of factors to consider when planning to invest in a twin baby stroller. You need to consider your lifestyle and factor this into which twin stroller will best suit your needs and the needs of the twins or baby and toddler depending on what purpose you require the double stroller for.

If you have a toddler and a baby make sure the twin stroller is well balance to take the difference in weights, also be sure that the stroller doesn’t tip over when a heavy diaper bag is placed across the handles. Fife point safety straps are the most secure so these are a must to hold in toddlers. While you are in the store try pushing different size strollers around and see which is most comfortable for you. Do the handles match your height and can they be adjusted and make sure your feet don’t hit the wheels while pushing the stroller around.

What type of activity do you need the twin stroller for? Is it for pushing around the park, quick trips to the mall of heavy power walking through the park and rough terrain of the neighborhood side walks while trying to loose those pregnancy pounds? Each one of these options requires a different type of stroller for efficacy, mobility and endurance purposes. There are light weigh strollers, regular strollers or jogging strollers for the more outdoor parent so make sure to factor these into the buying process.

If the stroller is for two children different in age then make sure the body of the strollers can be adjusted to accommodate different weights and sitting/lying positions as an older child will need a more upright body with reclining back and a newborn will need a more secure crib like body that can be adjusted as he gets older. Also when picking accessories for the stroller like underneath basket and Sippy cup holders make sure that the whole stroller will fit into the boot of your car when folded up with all the accessories on.
